Automated MRI quality control
Every scan checked for artefacts on arrival.
A scan spoiled by motion or ghosting can cost a trial a time point if the problem is found late. QSA checks each scan as it arrives and sends problems back to the site early.
The classifiers are trained on artefacts simulated with physics-based generators, so they do not depend on large collections of rare corrupted scans (Ravì et al., Medical Image Analysis 2024).
